Before manufacturing, we can make a small sample version of the product.

For designers who want to see what the textile will look like before starting production, we can prepare a small Nishijin Carbon preproduction sample. First, send us your sketches or drawings together with the direction. After discussing/confirming the details, we will make a small preproduction sample of 1-meter (3.3 ft) × 30–50-cm (1–1.6 ft)(W × L)

After concluding a non-disclosure agreement, we consult with the designer to work out the sample design, quantity, delivery date, and other details. Sample production charges vary depending on the requirements. While consultations about samples generally take place in Kyoto, Japan where we are based, we can accommodate customers in remote locations, such as customers overseas, who prefer to communicate online, but in this case separate charges apply. A written estimate is prepared for each project.

Sample production fees are generally from 200,000 to 500,000 yen.

Once you have approved the details of the written estimate, please process payment equivalent to the full amount of the written estimate.

Once we have received payment, we start preparing the sample.
